How I found Tone It Up

Those who know me know that I’m a huge Bravo™ fan.  When I saw commercials for this new show called Toned Up™ starting in January 2014, I was intrigued.  These two best friends and business partners, Karena and Katrina, doing workouts on the California beaches seemed to have it all.  I was hooked instantly!  Little did I know Tone It Up™ would change my life.

I immediately went online to learn more what Tone It Up (TIU)™ was all about. I fell in love with their easy-going vibes and started following them on social media.  I joined their Love Your Body™ challenge and was implementing this new lifestyle into my routine.   I was blown away with all they had to offer.  They have a nutrition plan membership ($150 investment for: continuous plan updates, weekly member emails, and so much more!).  Also, you can purchase their DVDs/ premium videos or download free workouts.  Tone It Up™ also has several fitness challenges throughout the year to keep you motivated.  It is so worth it!   You can follow TIU™ and the #TIUteam on all social media platforms and the #TIUcommunity on their website.

I was amazed that there are thousands of women doing exactly what I was doing in order to reach our fitness goals.  These women were from all over the world and from all walks of life.  And they were empowering each other!  That was what sold me.  There’s so much competition, judgments, and pettiness that surrounds women, hence why I don’t have many close girlfriends.  And this didn’t exist with TIU™.

I soon found out there was other ladies in Philly and South Jersey also following TIU™ and I thought this would be a fantastic way to meet local like-minded women. I was able to connect with these women through different hashtags and would always get excited to see their #TIUcheckins of their meals and workouts, a way we all kept ourselves accountable.

Before I knew it, I felt like I was getting to know these women and planned a mini #TIUmeetup for a free yoga class at the new Race Street Pier.  A few girls signed up and I was excited to meet them in person since I’ve been following them for while.  We went through the flow and chatted after the class.  We immediately clicked and continued to meet up every weekend trying out different classes.  I found my clique and the rest is history. 🙂

This is not sponsored in anyway but I would recommend for anyone trying to get in a fitness routine.

Do you have a favorite workout or studio?  Would love to hear about!

  1. Howdy would you mind letting me know which hosting company you’re working with? I’ve loaded your blog in 3 completely different web browsers and I must say this blog loads a lot faster then most. Can you recommend a good hosting provider at a reasonable price? Kudos, I appreciate it!

    1. Hi There!!

I’m using and have the Premium plan. It’s the only one I ever used! I’m a complete beginner and found it to be easy to use.

      Hope this helps!

      Have a wonderful day!
